Cortisone injections for hips and knees are actually dangerous!

This is important news!

“Cortisone injections for hip and knee pain are more dangerous than was thought.”

People use cortisone shots to help with their pain. Often time, it is one of the last resorts before surgery like hip replacement. These shots do not address the root cause of the problem. I go over what we need to do below.

Doctors provide the injections for those suffering moderate to severe osteoarthritis and inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, and it is also used in sports medicine.

Cortisone injections for hip and knee pain lead to more complications than previously thought, research has found.

The anti-inflammatory jabs are used by athletes to mask pain and to treat symptoms of osteoarthritis.

But the study by Boston University School of Medicine found that the treatment could speed up a joint’s disintegration and force patients to have total knee or hip replacements.

Researchers found 10% of their patients given injections in the hips in 2018 suffered complications, along with 4% of those who had the jabs in the knees.

These can include stress fractures, progressive osteoarthritis, or even the collapse of joints.

Study leader Dr. Ali Guermazi, of Boston University School of Medicine in the US, said:

“We’ve been telling patients that even if these injections don’t relieve your pain, they’re not going to hurt you. But now we suspect that this is not necessarily the case.”

“We are now seeing these injections can be very harmful to the joints with serious complications.”

He said patients contemplating such injections should be given more information about potential risks.

“What we wanted to do with our paper is to tell physicians and patients to be careful,

Dr .Guermazi said: “Physicians do not commonly tell patients about the possibility of joint collapse or subchondral insufficiency fractures that may lead to earlier total hip or knee replacement. This information should be part of the consent when you inject patients with intra-articular corticosteroids.”

Researchers said patients with little sign of osteoarthritis on their X-rays should be particularly closely monitored if the pain they were experiencing was disproportionate to evidence on the scan. Such patients are at greater risk of destructive arthritis after injections, they said.

As we can see, those shots could cause more damage to your joints.

So, the question we need to answer is, why do you have joint issues?

There are a few factors.

First, the diet. The main reason that people develop joint pain over time is the consumption of foods that affect the joints. The mains ones are wheat, sugar, and pasteurized milk.

Sometimes nightshades could be an issue, such as tomatoes, bell peppers, potatoes, eggplants, and paprika.

Second, some toxins, such as mercury, aluminum, pesticides, can accumulate in the joints causing inflammation and destruction of the joint structures.

Consequently, a joint-specific detox is needed in order to eliminate those toxins from the joints. Once this is done, and once the diet has been optimized, the hips and the knees will heal themselves.

Did you know that the liver is the organ that produces glucosamine?

Yes, people will buy glucosamine from the store to help with the pain, but it may not work. As I said, the diet has to be addressed, and a proper detox has to been done.

And why not help your liver to produce glucosamine, so you do not depend on a pill to take for the rest of your life?

The liver loves vitamin A! Virtually 100% of people that I have seen with joint issues are deficient in this vitamin. The best sources are liver (beef, chicken, lamb, etc.), fish, cheese, butter, and eggs.

By the way, beta-carotene is not vitamin A. Your body needs to transform it into A, which is a process that involves about 25-30 steps, which is very costly for the body.

Finally, once the diet is addressed, the detox is done, we can use stem cells to regenerate the joint that we are having problems with. This is a powerful tool that I have used with great success.

You see, you do not know cortisone injections IF you address the root cause of the issue.

Hope this helps!

God bless y’all 😊
